Akane's Dinner, a Dementis CrackstoryThe demoness drew her tongue over the supple skin of her powerless victim, teasingly testing its strength. Oh... Always so weak and utterly...
Delicious. That was the only word that came to her mind as her tongue doubled back into her mouth to run across sharp fangs. Delicious and oh-so juicy, she thought to herself, grabbing a knife from the nearby coffee table.
She ran the point against the firm skin, causing some vital fluid to leak out, spurring her predator instinct onwards... But not yet. No, she still had to have her fun with it. Grinning widely with devilish malice, she set into it.
Nipping, biting, scratching at it, they rolled across the floor. Oh, how much fun it was~!
The apple was in shreds by the time Lance walked over out of pure curiosity. Why was his commander rolling around on the carpet with a piece of fruit? Nevermind that, why was she laughing like an executioner, a big creepy smile etched on her face?
Akane was absolutely freaking out now,
The GoalShe always looked forward.
Even when what she was looking toward was blood, pain and death, even if it eventually meant her own life, she continued to walk in that general direction, never looking behind at the rows of bodies that piled behing her, loyal until the last.
Even when the light was too bright and burned her eyes, pale and unused to brightness, even when those who stood in her way told her she could not walk a step further, she continued on.
Even when those who stood by her side like stone suddenly crumbled away in the face of hardship, even when those that she loved ceased to reciprocate, she continued.
She walked toward a single goal.
Not the journey, nor her faith in a payout was the truly noble thing about her,
it was that she continued without even knowing where it was exactly that she was headed.
Dementis: PrologueAs the moonlight bathed her from the crooked gap that had once been a window, supposedly, she stood and watched them pass by. People of all ages, shapes and colors, some were walking dogs, others walking children. Some were alone.
They were oblivious. Ignorant. Foolish.
The way they walked along so happily indicated all of this to her.
She enjoyed watching the people outside. It told her that life wasn’t like hers was, that she,
one day, could escape. Break away from everything, and start again. It wouldn’t be easy,
she knew. It would take a few years, if she didn’t starve to death before then, to grow
strong enough to kill them. The fat old ones would be easy, they were frail with age and
required sticks to move about. Simply take that from them, and they would be powerless
to stop her. But the large male… He would be a problem. He wasn’t frail, like the small ones or
the old ones. He had muscle, and he carried the pipe, which put her at a great disadvan
